Cornerstone Teaching Series

The fifth AAMA Cornerstone Teaching Series will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd at 8:30 am PST; 10:30 am CST; 11:30 am EST. Our topic will be "Strategic Planning / Capacity Building". Our facilitator for the month of July is Dr. Pier Rogers, Director of the Alexson Center for North Park University in Chicago, Illinois. Handouts for the session can be downloaded under the 'Members Only' tab on the day before each teaching session. After each teaching session, we are asking participants to send an evaluation to aamaecc@comcast.net and let us know how the learning experience was for them. If you've missed a previous teaching session, you can access it under the "Member's Only" tab on this site.  

AAMA Members Reception During The ECC Annual Meeting In Green Lake, Wisconsin 

AAMA members met on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. in the Towers Dining Room of the Kraft Centre for a reception for celebrating new calls, Class of 2008 graduates and ordinands. 

Rev. Dr. Henry Greenidge Receives Lambert Award

Pastor Henry Greenidge is the 2008 recipient of the Irving P. Lambert Award. The Lambert Award is given each year to Covenanter whose life and practice reflect a deep commitment to urban and/or ethnic ministries. The award was presented during the ECC Annual Meeting in Green Lake. A special reception was held in his honor during the annual meeting.

Becoming An AAMA Member

Membership in the African-American Ministers Association is open to men and women who are creditionaled by the Evangelical Covenant Church's Department of Ordered Ministry.
