ContactThe AAMA links credentialed African-American pastors and ministers of local Covenant congregations. The AAMA sponsors an annual retreat, gatherings at the Covenant Midwinter Conference and Annual Meeting and regional gatherings at conference annual meetings and pastor's retreats. The AAMA serves as a place of fellowship, encouragement, accountability and training as we focus on strengthening our member churches. The AAMA serves the mission of the Evangelical Covenant Church by helping to recruit pastors and engaging congregations that are exploring affiliation with the ECC. Meet The Officers The officers of the AAMA for 2007-2008 are: President; Pastor Catherine Gilliard, Vice President; Pastor Conway Boyce, Second Vice President; Pastor Efrem Smith, Secretary; Pastor Michael Rose and Treasurer; Rev. Harold Spooner. AAMA Conference Facilitators A new regional structure is unfolding to help create community and support within regional conferences for AAMA members. Each conference now has a facilitator who will report back to the Executive Committee on celebrations, best practices, advocacy concerns and prayer support. These members have agreed to serve in this role for one year (Mid-winter 2008) to help establish relationships among geographically connected members.
