Story Stones
Joshua 4: 4 – 7 “So Joshua called together… one from each tribe, and said to them, “Go over before the ark of the Lord our God into the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to take up a stone on his shoulder… to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, “What do these stones mean?” tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord. …These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.”
STORY STONES (testimonies to call) will be archived in Covenant history for future generations to read and research God’s story through individuals and events. Story stones journal a 150-word story of a woman's call to ministry.
To submit your story stone, simply download the ACCW Story Stone Submission Form below and write your snapshot or email your story stone submission to kirstendnelson@hotmail.com. If you are a woman who holds a license from the ECC Department of Ordered Ministry, we'd like to include your story stone.
Be descriptive and personal, but brief. Include your current place of service, conference, your ministry role and your ECC credential and year: (Example: Ordained 1976, Commissioned 2002, Licensed 1997, seminarian 2007, etc.)
