Delegate Orientation and Reception
Delegates are invited to an orientation on Thursday, June 21, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. Meet other delegates and Covenant leaders in a relaxed, “refreshment served” setting. The significance and parliamentarian process of the Covenant Annual Meeting will be explained and a humorous case study will be reviewed by this year’s officers: Herbert J. Hedstrom, moderator; Marlene J. Soderstrom, vice-moderator; Gregory J. Englund, parliamentarian; and Donn N. Engebretson, executive vice-president.

What is the Annual Meeting? The Annual Meeting is the highest legislative body of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC), made up of representatives from Covenant churches throughout the United States and Canada. Delegates gather together for worship and fellowship, and to ordain ministers, consecrate missionaries, elect leaders, review finances, adopt a budget, and address the business of the church.
