If you are coming to the Annual Meeting as a delegate, your church will also need to fill out the credential card (which has been included with each church mailing), and mail to the Annual Meeting registrar, 5101 North Francisco Avenue, Chicago, IL, 60625. A self-addressed envelope has been included with each church mailing. The credential process legally certifies an individual to represent their church as a voting delegate at the Annual Meeting. Designations General Conferee. General conferees are Covenanters wishing to attend the Annual Meeting without officially representing a local church or institution. General conferees are provided mezzanine seating at the business sessions, as well as handouts. However, they are not allowed to voice their opinions, ask questions, or vote. General conferees are also allowed to participate in evening worship sessions and attend workshops. Resource Personnel. Resource personnel are Covenant Office employees who are designated by their administrators as support staff to the Annual Meeting.
Included in Registration Fees • For general conferees, retired Covenant pastors, and NPTS students: General Conferee name badge; seating as observer at the Annual Meeting; copy of The 2007 President’s Report and the Covenant financial reports; opportunity to attend delegate orientation and other open workshops; availability for children’s ministry programs and child care at the designated fee with advance reservation.

What is the Annual Meeting? The Annual Meeting is the highest legislative body of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC), made up of representatives from Covenant churches throughout the United States and Canada. Delegates gather together for worship and fellowship, and to ordain ministers, consecrate missionaries, elect leaders, review finances, adopt a budget, and address the business of the church. |
