| Andrés A. Bunch LopezThursday evening preacher Andrés A. Bunch serves the Lord in Bogotá, Colombia, where he is the pastor of the El Pacto Christian Church. In the past fourteen years Andrés has planted eight new churches. He did his theological studies with the Baptist Bible Institute in Bogotá, and he also has degree in law. Andrés is the director of the Foundation El Pacto, which ministers to prisoners, families of prisoners, and the street people of Bogotá. The Foundation also runs an elementary and middle school for 270 children, providing a Christian-oriented education. Andrés is married to Beatriz Argüello Valencia, and they have one son, Andrés Mauricio.  Bishop Sherwood C. Carthen
| Bishop Sherwood C. Carthen Friday evening preacher Bishop Sherwood C. Carthen is the senior pastor of Bayside of South Sacramento and the founder and director of the Our Family Community Foundation, specializing in wellness, wholeness, and faith. He is active nationally in such causes as tobacco education and substance abuse prevention, and in the Sacramento community’s Martin Luther King Jr. celebration. He is also chaplain for the National Basketball Association’s Sacramento Kings. Bishop Carthen received a degree in theology and an honorary D.Div. in the field of interdenominational service from the Mount Zion Institute and Bible Seminary.  Ray W. Johnston
| Ray W. Johnston Friday evening preacher Ray Johnston is president of Developing Effective Leaders, an organization that sponsors leadership training seminars. He is also the founding pastor of Bayside Church, in Roseville/Granite Bay, Calif., which has grown to over 8,000 in ten years. Since 1988 he has helped coordinate the Youth Ministries program of the ECC, and he has also served with Youth Specialties Ministries. He is an author and a popular speaker. He is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University and Fuller Theological Seminary. Ray and his wife, Carol, live in Granite Bay with their four kids – Mark, Scott, Leslie and Christy.  Kurt A. Miericke
| Kurt A. MierickeSaturday evening preacher Kurt Miericke has served as superintendent of the Southeast Conference for sixteen years. He holds a B.A. degree from North Park University and attended North Park Theological Seminary. His M.Div. and D.Min. degrees are from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. In 1973 Kurt was called to plant the Valley Hi Covenant Church in Sacramento. Ten years later he accepted a call to Broadway Covenant Church in Rockford, Illinois. He has been active in conference, Covenant, and community leadership throughout his years of ministry. Kurt is married to Cynthia Boyer, and they have two grown children, Tina and Andrew.  Philip N. Stenberg
| Philip N. Stenberg Sunday morning preacher Phil Stenberg is the senior pastor of Bethlehem Covenant Church in Minneapolis. He attended the University of Notre Dame and received his bachelor’s degree from Bethel College, Mishawaka, Indiana. In 1969 he graduated from North Park Theological Seminary, and in 1983 he earned his D.Min. degree from McCormick Theological Seminary. He has also served Covenant churches in New York, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, and Illinois; and he has been active in Covenant and conference leadership. Phil has two grown children, four stepdaughters, two stepsons, and five grandchildren. He has been married to Linda Lund since 2002.  Carolyn L. Poterek
| Carolyn L. PoterekDevotional Leader Carolyn Poterek is the pastor to high school and college students at Trinity Covenant Church in Salem, Oregon. She moved to Oregon after receiving her M.Div. degree at North Park Theological Seminary in 2005. In addition to pastoring, Carolyn serves the Covenant as a facilitator for the Invitation to Racial Righteousness, as an advisory board member for the Center for Youth Ministry Studies at North Park University, and as a member of the North Pacific Conference Youth Commission. What is the Annual Meeting? The Annual Meeting is the highest legislative body of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC), made up of representatives from Covenant churches throughout the United States and Canada. Delegates gather together for worship and fellowship, and to ordain ministers, consecrate missionaries, elect leaders, review finances, adopt a budget, and address the business of the church.
