Covenant Kids MinistriesCovenant Kids ministries are committed to providing a nurturing ministry experience for children whose parents are attending the Annual Meeting business sessions. Cost for the four day program is $65. After June 1, Covenant Kids will be handled on a space available basis. All children must be preregistered. This includes children who are coming for only one night. Children’s ministries do not extend over the lunch or dinner breaks, this is an opportunity for families to spend time together. (Students entering grades seven through twelve are invited to volunteer as counselors in any of the children’s ministries.)
Shepherds Fold (6 mos - 2 yrs).The shepherds Fold Ministry staff is committed to the care of the youngest of God’s children. You can be assured your child will receive safe loving care in an environment especially designed for young children.
Preschool Kingdom (3 yrs - Kindergarten).Children from age three through those entering kindergarten will pray, worship, play in a make-believe land, listen to stories, have fun with crafts, sing songs, play games, explore God’s word, and enjoy field trips to Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and the Children’s Museum.
Adventure Camp (grades 1-6)A fantastically fun, spiritual adventure for those entering first grade through those entering sixth grade. Adventure Camp will feature worship, prayer, stories, music, games, crafts, puppets, having fun with God’s word, and field trips to Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and Portland Zoo. What is the Annual Meeting? The Annual Meeting is the highest legislative body of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC), made up of representatives from Covenant churches throughout the United States and Canada. Delegates gather together for worship and fellowship, and to ordain ministers, consecrate missionaries, elect leaders, review finances, adopt a budget, and address the business of the church.
