Saturday Evening Reception
This will be a wonderful opportunity to welcome our newly elected administrators as well as honoring administrators and missionaries who are concluding their service. The newly called or elected leaders are expected to be: Stephen R. Dawson (president, National Covenant Properties), Robert L. Owens (superintendent, Southeast Conference), and Deborah C. Blue (executive minister of compassion, mercy, and justice). Those being honored for their years of hard work and dedication to the ECC include: David W. Johnson (retiring president, National Covenant Properties), Robert S. and Janet Thornbloom (retiring missionaries), Kurt A. Miericke (concluding his service as superintendent, Southeast Conference). The reception will include refreshments and is open to anyone attending the Annual Meeting.

What is the Annual Meeting? The Annual Meeting is the highest legislative body of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC), made up of representatives from Covenant churches throughout the United States and Canada. Delegates gather together for worship and fellowship, and to ordain ministers, consecrate missionaries, elect leaders, review finances, adopt a budget, and address the business of the church.
