TRAVEL NOTE: If you plan on traveling to Detroit on Monday, June 24th, please know that Detroit is holding a Freedom Festival downtown that evening. When making travel arrangements for Mission Detroit and/or the 128th Annual Meeting, plan to be at the hotel no later than 3pm on Monday. Detroit’s downtown area will be shut down for the festival and you will not be able to get to the Renaissance Center after 3:00pm on Monday.

The Detroit People Mover (DPM) is a fully automated light rail system that operates on an elevated single track loop in Detroit’s central business district. The 2.9 mile system provides connections between sports arenas, exhibition centers, major hotels, and commercial, banking and retail districts.
