April 28 Dinner to Honor Robert Dvorak
CROMWELL, CT (March 2, 2006) - A dinner honoring retiring East Coast Supt.
Robert Dvorak is scheduled for April 28.
The dinner will be held at Chez Josef in Agawam, Massachusetts. Cost is
$25 per person and reservation forms are available at local churches in
the conference. Seating is limited and requests will be handled on a
first-come, first-served basis. Payment must accompany the reservation,
which must be received by March 25.
The planning committee is preparing a book of remembrances consisting of
letters and notes of appreciation that individuals or churches may want
to write to Dvorak. The book will be presented at the dinner. All
submissions should be received by March 25.
A fund is being established in Dvorak's honor to provide assistance to
conference churches. The money will primarily be used to purchase copies
of the Covenant Hymnal: A Worship Book for recently adopted or
planted churches, as well as the Covenant Book of Worship for
their pastors.
