 *New Policy*

As of July 1, 2008, for all Covenant employees and their spouses over the age of 65, Medicare will be primary and Bethany Benefit Service will be secondary, with the exception of those working at Covenant organizations with more than 20 full-time employees.  Medicare will receive and cover the majority of your medical bills, and Bethany Benefit Service will offer supplemental coverage.  Your premium will decrease dramatically, though your level of coverage will remain the same and you will continue to be eligible for life and long-term disability insurance until retirement.

If you are working full-time and are turning 65, please enroll in Medicare part A and B and send Bethany Benefit Service a copy of your Medicare cards for our records two months before your birthday.
