Dear Covenant Friends. Scot McKnight is hosting a series called Preparing for Pentecost. He’s posting reflections on his book Forty Days Living the Jesus Creed. It’s been excellent, and I wish we’d have brought it to you sooner.

I think the book is rich with ideas for a sermon series. But more important, it’s full of prompts for our own spiritual formation as leaders in Christ’s Church.

Paired with the blog series, it’s great devotional material for this oft overlooked and profound season of the Church—Pentecost.
