CHIC Exists to…
Be a catalyst for Christ-like change for the individual student, the larger youth group as a whole, and the church or ministry with which they are connected. CHIC is a place on the journey and an experience that uniquely and creatively inspires.
Challenge students to see themselves as part of something bigger.
Inspire students towards the journey of following Christ.
The Vision of CHIC 2009
Being: a Christ-centered community of students – Genesis 28:3
Knowing: confident in their relationship with Christ – Romans 8: 38-39
Doing: committed to doing justice, loving mercy and walking humbly with their God – Micah 6:8
The Core Values of CHIC 2009
• Being accessible to any Covenant student
• Creating a Lasting Legacy
• Focusing on relevance to this generation
• Developing all areas of CHIC with excellence
• Recognizing and respecting the uniqueness of every individual
• Providing space for young people to have an experience they could not have at home
CHIC Theme: UNDONE
It is an interesting thing to come in contact with the divine, for God does seem to undo the things that we have spent so much of our lives doing. The brilliant thing about that encounter is that after he has undone our work he empowers us to do all the undone work of the Kingdom.

Scholarships
Each church will receive ONE FREE registration, a $500 value. Each church can decide how to use their scholarship – it can be divided among several students/adults or be used for one person. If a church chooses not to use their free registration they can designate it to another Covenant church of their choice. Please consider the special needs that may be present in new church plants, predominantly ethnic churches, or rural churches. You know your neighboring churches best, so let's help one another in our particular areas of need.
