Carroll Lind Memorial Service Time Changed
NORTHBROOK, IL (March 9, 2006) - The time for the memorial service for retired
Evangelical Covenant Church pastor Carroll Lind has been changed to 9:30
a.m. on Saturday, April 1, at Covenant Village of Northbrook, 2625
Techny Road in Northbrook.
Lind died January 6 at Covenant Village and Brandel Care Center in
Northbrook. He was 87.
Lind was a member of North Park Covenant Church in Chicago. He served
Covenant churches in Nebraska, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Illinois. In
addition to his pastoral service, he worked from 1971 to 1983 at
Covenant Press in Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise, in 2001. Other survivors
include a son, Jim, who lives in Ferndale, Michigan.
