Collecting Names of Urban Servants

The Irving C. Lambert Award is given each year to a Covenanter whose life and practice reflect a deep commitment to urban and /or ethnic ministries. The award is named for a Covenant layperson who devoted much of his life to urban ministry. Irving Lambert was, until his death in 1979, an advocate for urban mission in his church, conference, and the denomination.

Do you know someone who has been selflessly serving in urban ministry and is deserving of recognition for his or her service? The Urban Commission of the Evangelical Covenant Church is collecting names of potential candidates for this honor. To submit a name please call 773-907-3347 or email chris.hagberg (at) covchurch.org. The deadline for submitting nominations is March 1st of each year.
