<description>Mount Miguel Covenant Village (Spring Valley, California), part of a nation wide family of CCAC accredited CCRC&#x27;s: Covenant Retirement Communities, 5th largest AAHSA Ziegler Top 100, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing. This position is responsible for clinical supervision in the nursing department to ensure high standards of care are being delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures and State and Federal regulations. The Assistant Director of Nursing assumes the functions of the Director of Nursing in his/her absence. With the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing will ensure that the Nursing Department maintains the standards of nursing within the expectations of the Nurse Practice Act, and that the facility will provide 24-hour nursing services to residents based on acuity within State and Federal requirements. The successful candidate will have: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State, required. Thorough knowledge of OBRA and Title 22 for skilled nursing facilities, required. Extensive knowledge of the Medicare program, required. Prior supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility, strongly preferred. The incumbent must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents and staff. Must be able to read and write English in order to maintain proper records. The position further requires an individual with the ability to supervise, motivate and direct staff. The individual must possess initiative and judgment in determining needs of residents and in maintaining resident care delivery in conformance with recognized standards. This position requires proven leadership ability, including the ability to model appropriate team behaviors as well as excellent clinical skills. The position requires extensive knowledge of Medicare coverage, knowledge of the PPS, the RAI, limits of coverage, corporate compliance issues, etc. This position also requires knowledge of the State Medicaid program (Medi-Cal), including coverage and limits to coverage. <title>Administrative Assistant for Real Estate Services</title>

<description>National Covenant Properties (NCP) (Chicago, Illinois), has been serving member churches of The Evangelical Covenant Church since 1970 to provide loans for new church construction and church additions. NCP is seeking an Administrative Assistant to start late August, 2008. The position is responsible for providing administrative support to the 2 vice presidents of real estate services, one of whom works in another location. This position reports directly to the vice presidents of real estate services and takes general direction from the senior account manager. This position is administrative and clerical in nature. The successful candidate will have: Bachelor of Arts or Science degree or equivalent Two - three years of related experience in an administrative support position The Assistant is responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including the following: Support Real Estate Services Division of National Covenant Properties by making initial contacts with sellers or sellers&#x26;rsquo; agents on property leads; running point on due diligence for purchases; coordinating the ordering of title work for purchases; reviewing title work and bringing issue to attention of VPs of Real Estate Services; coordinating the preparation of documents by legal counsel and completing documentation requirements for closings; assisting in the administrative details related to a church closure, e.g. paperwork for the transfer of property, changing over utilities and monthly bills, etc.; assisting in the preparation of Investment Generation Power Point presentations; Support Covenant Development Corporation by coordinating logistics for CDC board meetings; ensuring timely reimbursement for board member meeting expenses; maintaining and updating the CDC board roster; ensuring that CDC board meeting minutes are signed and scanned; assisting VP in payment processing of CDC monthly finances &#x26;amp; Annual Review;  Support Investment Services Division of National Covenant Properties by answering phones as needed (requires Securities Series 63 licensure and training on NCP accounting systems); assisting in semi-annual mailings; assisting in calling maturing certificate holders; Support NCP Office Staff by assisting Senior Account Manager with details related to NCP board meetings. It is essential that the individual is dependable, has good inter-personal relationship skills and the ability to deal well with others and handle a variety of routine tasks and responsibilities in a professional, prompt manner. The person must have excellent organizational skills, initiative and good judgment, accuracy and attention to detail. The individual must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with limited regular face to face contact with vice presidents who work in other locations. The person must be tactful and posses excellent communication skills (written and verbal, English skills required) to effectively communicate with a variety of people and personalities. The individual must have the ability to plan and carry out multiple and varied responsibilities with limited supervision and direction, and take initiative on routine responsibilities, organize own schedule and duties in order to complete responsibilities. The person must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to take direction from a variety of people. The ability to maintain confidentiality and good judgment is necessary. The person must demonstrate proficiency with or ability to learn Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database, internet and email systems and other applicable software programs.
