Grand Rapids CRC Facility Open House January 14

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (January 4, 2001) - Covenant Village of the Great Lakes will celebrate its dedication and open house January 14, six months after groundbreaking ceremonies.

David Dwight, president of Covenant Retirement Communities (CRC) in Chicago, and Great Lakes Conference Supt. David Dahlberg will be among the guests at the event.

Covenant Village of the Great Lakes broke ground in July 1999 for the 82-apartment assisted-living facility. Plans call for construction of 166 independent living apartments, according to special events coordinator Sally Mortenson. The first residents moved in during December.

For more information on Covenant Village of the Great Lakes and the dedication, contact Mortenson at 616-735-4541.
