Alaska Christian College Seeking Applicants
SOLDOTNA, AK (January 9, 2002) - Alaska Christian College (ACC), an institution sponsored by the Evangelical Covenant Church of Alaska (ECCAK) is seeking people to fill key positions for the school, according to ACC Director Keith Hamilton.
The school needs a head cook to serve 30 people daily meals for the spring term. The school will
provide room, board and a small stipend. Some travel is possible. No licensure is needed, but food service experience is preferred.
A maintenance/caretaker position is being created May 1 and ACC is seeking a year-round person to provide minor maintenance and care taking of ACC's 10-acre campus (four buildings). General maintenance skills are necessary and room and board and a small stipend may be possible.
The school also is seeking a full-time administrative assistant to run ACC's office. Experience in computer operations, detail work, bookkeeping and receptionist work are required. Quality relational skills are also important as the administrative assistant will have interaction with the public, students and staff on a regular basis. Housing, food and a small stipend are possible.
