Trio to Perform Classics at Saturday Concert

CHICAGO, IL (January 24, 2002) - Chicago Symphony Orchestra musicians David Taylor and Richard Hirschl will perform as part of a three-piece ensemble as North Park University presents Chamber Music at North Park on Saturday at Anderson Chapel.

Taylor, a violinist, and Hirschl, who plays the cello, will be joined by pianist Milana Pavchinskaya for the 3 p.m. concert. Pavchinskaya serves as a faculty member at the Music Institute of Chicago. Known as the Rugeri Trio, the ensemble will perform pieces from Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Schubert, among others.

Ticket prices are $15 for general admission and $10 for seniors, the disabled and non-North Park students. North Park students will be admitted free with identification. A subscription series ticket for all four performances of the Chamber Music at North Park series (co-sponsored by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra) is $37.50.
