Mt. Miguel Church Changes Name to Grace Covenant
SPRING VALLEY, CA (February 6, 2002) - Mt. Miguel Covenant Church in Spring Valley, a suburb of San Diego, voted to change its name to Grace Covenant Church during its recent annual meeting.
Pastor Michael Wilson stated that the church of 150 has changed its name in response to confusion over the church name and that of the nearby Mt. Miguel Covenant Village retirement facility. The Pacific Southwest Conference was notified of the change last month and paperwork has been filed with the California Secretary of State's office.
