School of Music to Present Marriage of Figaro
CHICAGO, IL (February 22, 2002) - Mozart's "Marriage of Figaro" will be presented in English by the North Park University (NPU) School of Music with 7:30 p.m. performances March 1 and March 3 at the school's Lecture Hall Auditorium.
The performances are part of North Park's Opera Workshop program, which provides students with an opportunity to explore traditional opera as well as contemporary operas. Terree Shofner Emrich is opera program director for North Park's 150-minute rendition of "Marriage of Figaro."
Tickets are $10 for general admission. Tickets for North Park faculty and staff, seniors (65 and over), non-North Park students and the disabled are $6. Current North Park students will be admitted for $2 with identification.
