Chicago Church Seeks Administrative Position Candidates
CHICAGO, IL (March 12, 2002) - Grace Evangelical Covenant Church is seeking candidates for a position as administrative assistant to the pastoral staff.
This position oversees the functions and systems of the church, supporting the staff and the ministries through administrative coordination. Areas of responsibilities include the church office, supplies, computer resources, management of the physical facilities, security systems, maintenance, facility use scheduling and serving as business manager for the church.
The successful candidate will share a common faith and vision with Grace Covenant Church and must be willing to become a member of the congregation. This individual will be an experienced administrative professional - some managerial and church office experience is desired. Excellent writing, telephone and personal communication skills are required, as are word processing skills and a willingness to acquire expertise in presentation software.
