Candidates Sought for CRC President
CHICAGO, IL (March 22, 2002) - A search is under way for a new president of Covenant Retirement Communities (CRC) to replace David A. Dwight, who has been selected to succeed Paul V. Peterson who is retiring as president of Covenant Ministries of Benevolence (CMB).
The position will be available September 1, according to information contained in a letter sent this week to Covenant church pastors and leaders by Ralph L. Sager, chair of the CRC Board of Directors.
The CRC president is responsible for strategic leadership and for achieving financial performance to ensure the long-range financial integrity of the organization. This responsibility includes overseeing more than 2,000 employees and approximately $500 million in assets.
A search committee is conducting a nationwide search for candidates. "We are seeking suggestions from the church as to possible candidates," the Sager letter states. "We ask that you include the following information with your suggestions:
- Name, address and telephone numbers
- Employment experience in an applicable, related field
- Rationale and/or description of qualifications
Responses should be received no later than April 17 - all correspondence will be confidential and shared only with the search committee. Individuals desiring to express an interest in the position may also direct information to Sager's attention.
Covenant Retirement Communities serves more than 5,000 residents in 15 retirement communities in eight states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota and Washington.
