Cromwell Seeking Chaplain Candidates
CROMWELL, CT (April 12, 2002) - Covenant Village of Cromwell is seeking a
chaplain with accountability for providing spiritual care for residents and
staff of the Covenant Village of Cromwell campus, and to shape and sustain
the sense of community and Christian unity among residents and staff.
This position is responsible for encouraging residents to attend and
support churches of their choice and assisting in arranging transportation
as necessary, facilitating the work of local clergy in meeting the needs of
their parishioners who reside at Covenant Village of Cromwell,
communicating with local clergy of all faiths in order to acquaint them
with the facility and services, and making the ministry as effective as
possible.
The position assists in worship preparation and chairs and/or participates
on various committees that support the broad objectives of the chaplain
program.
