Minnehaha's Feldman Headed for Georgetown University
MINNEAPOLIS, MN (May 10, 2002) - Minnehaha Academy senior Kemmons Feldman
accepted a scholarship offer to play for the Division I soccer program at
Georgetown University after a standout career at the school.
Feldman leaves the Minnehaha program after earning All-State honors three
times. Feldman, a tri-captain for the Red Hawks last season, was the team's
Most Valuable Player as a junior and senior. He was a NSCCA All-Regional
Team boys soccer selection in 2001 and earned All-Metro
honors the past two years.
A six-year Minnesota Olympic Development Program (ODP) team member in club
soccer, Feldman was a member of the Region II ODP team. He traveled to the
ODP inter-regional tournament in Coca Beach, Florida and went to Brazil
with the Region II ODP team. He was also invited to train with the Chicago
Fire professional soccer team for a short time.
