Covenant Pines Golf Event Raises $8,000 for Camp
LAKEVILLE, MN (June 11, 2002) - Ken Fenton, Rob Reed, Mark Weibel and Larry and
Scott Ojala shot a 10-under-par 61 for 18 holes to win the seventh annual
Covenant Pines Golf Tournament at the par-71 Crystal Lake Golf Course last
Wednesday.
Jim Anderson, Brian Fulcher, Shawn Murray and Jim Wroblewski combined to
shoot a 9-under-par 62 in the event, which raised approximately $8,000 for
the camp, according to Executive Director Bruce Peterson. Jim Burch (men)
and Bev Slocomb (women) hit the longest drives in their respective
divisions while Scott Ojala (men) and Krystal Settergren (women) sank the
longest putts of the day.
