Vikings Defeat Aurora in Soccer Action
CHICAGO, IL (September 5, 2002) - Freshman Matt Moncada scored three goals as
North Park University (2-0) defeated visiting Aurora University 5-0 Monday
in nonleague men's soccer play.
Moncada, an All-Conference and All-Section soccer player at Prairie Ridge
High School in Crystal Lake, was joined in the goal-scoring column Monday
by senior Fredrick Airosto and sophomore Adam Johnson. The Vikings had
edged Milwaukee School of Engineering 1-0 last Friday evening.
North Park travels to the Twin Cities this weekend for 1 p.m. games against
Carleton College and St. John's University on Saturday and Sunday
