Windsor Park Receives CCAC Accreditation
CAROL STREAM, IL (October 1, 2002) - Windsor Park Manor, one of the Covenant
Retirement Communities facilities sponsored by the Evangelical Covenant
Church, has been accredited by the Continuing Care Accreditation
Commission
(CCAC), a national agency sponsored by the American Association of Homes
and Services for the Aging.
Following a 10-month process, Windsor Park Manor became one of 14
accredited continuing care retirement communities in Illinois and one of
only 333 throughout the United States. CCAC accreditation assures
consumers
that Windsor Park Manor meets the highest standards in the retirement
housing industry. CCAC is an independent accrediting commission composed
of
providers, consumers and experts from the
continuing care industry.
A not-for-profit community, Windsor Park was established in 1986. More
than
500 retirees live on the 60-acre campus that offers independent living,
assisted living, memory support assisted living and skilled nursing
residences.
