North Park University Choir Sponsoring European Concert Tour

CHICAGO, IL (October 22, 2002) - The North Park University choir is headed to Europe next year as part of an Alumni, Parents and Friends Tour May 11-21 that will include stops in Scotland and England.

The cost for individuals desiring to be part of the tour is $2,495. A deposit of $500 must be paid by November 14. The event is being arranged through Concept Tours of New York.

The cost includes airfare to and from Chicago, hotel accommodations, coach transportation to choir concerts, tour guides, two meals per day and two special dinners - a welcome dinner in Edinburgh, Scotland, and a farewell dinner in London.

Also included are group entrance/tickets to the following attractions:

  • Edinburgh Castle and Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh
  • Stirling Castle and Argyll's Lodging in Stirling
  • York Minster in York
  • Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, and Westminster Abbey in London

Ann-Marie Olson, director of alumni and parent programs for North Park University, and Gregory Athnos, professor emeritus and director of choral activities at the school, will lead the tour.
