Festival of Arts November 8 at North Park University
CHICAGO, IL (October 29, 2002) - North Park University (NPU) will host a free
Festival of the Arts from 7 to 10 p.m. November 8 in Anderson Chapel.
North Park University admission counselor Glen McCarthy, a regionally known
hip-hop artist and lyricist, will be among those performing at the event,
which is
sponsored by the school's Institute for International and Cultural Studies,
Institute for Urban Studies and the Institute for Christianity,
Faith and Culture. Other guests include the Chicago-based Community Renewal
Chorus, painter Tim Lowly, the Tangeni Dance Troupe and pastor
and rap poet Les Williamson.
