Bonhoeffer Scholars to Present NPU Lecture Monday
CHICAGO, IL (November 6, 2002) - World-renowned Bonhoeffer scholars Burton
Nelson
of North Park Theological Seminary and Geffrey Kelly will present a
lecture Monday evening entitled "God and Suffering in Bonhoeffer's
Spirituality."
The lecture will begin at 7:30 pm in Anderson Chapel on the North Park
University campus, located at the intersection of Foster and Spaulding
avenues. The lecture is based on their new book, The Cost of Moral
Leadership."
There is no charge for the lecture, which is part of a program jointly
sponsored by the institutes for Urban Studies, International and
Cultural
Studies, and Christianity, Faith and Culture. For more information, call
