Openings Remain for Charity Golf and Grow Outing
CROMWELL, CT (December 11, 2002) - Registration is still open for the 7th annual
Golf and Grow Conference March 27-30 in Ocean City, Maryland.
Golf and Grow began through the ministry of men at The Covenant Church of
Easton, Connecticut, and has blossomed into a three-day event that has
attracted people from all over North America. The River Run Golf Club will
be the site of the golf portion of the event. This year's speaker is George
T. McGovern, a staff member for Athletes in Action who has served as chapel
leader for the New York Giants and the New York Yankees.
The event includes three days of golfing and accommodations at the Francis
Scott Key Hotel in Ocean City, along with two meals per day. A fourth day
of golf is optional at extra charge. The event costs $480, said Paul
Veerman of Children's Home of Cromwell, the contact person for the event.
