North Park University Celebrates Winter Commencement
CHICAGO, IL (December 16, 2002) - North Park University (NPU) awarded 110
graduate degrees, 72 Bachelor of Arts, 23 Bachelor of Science and 21
Bachelor of General Science degrees during its Winter Commencement last
Saturday.
President David G. Horner presided over the commencement convocation and
assisted Provost Margaret J. Haefner in the conferring of degrees to
students representing 23 countries.
NPU Board of Trustees member Ann R. Alvarez, president of Casa Central, the
largest Hispanic social service agency in the Midwest, gave the
commencement address entitled "A Day of Victory."
