Pine Lake (WA) to Celebrate New Family Life Center
SAMMAMISH, WA (January 21, 2003) - Two services of celebration and a time of
fellowship at an expanded facility will highlight this coming Sunday's
grand opening of the new Family Life Center at Pine Lake Covenant Church.
Special guests at the worship celebrations include Mark Novak,
superintendent of the North Pacific Conference of the Evangelical Covenant
Church, and Associate Supt. Don Robinson, who was the pastor who guided the
establishment and early growth of Pine Lake Covenant.
The first service begins at 9 a.m. with the second service at 10:30 a.m.
Those attending will begin the worship experience in the sanctuary and will
then travel to the new Life Center facility where a jazz ensemble will
provide music while individuals tour the facility, enjoy a variety of food
items and visit numerous ministry tables that will explain the ministries
of Pine Lake Covenant in greater detail.
The 15,185-square-foot building addition features a multi-purpose room
upstairs and a student center and classrooms downstairs. The building will
be used to expand programs of recreation, sports, fellowship and learning
for all ages. Chris Breuninger is the senior pastor of this congregation
that averages nearly 600 in worship attendance.
