National Magazine Highlights Companion Column
CHICAGO, IL (January 27, 2003) - Material from The Covenant Companion is
included in the February issue of Current Thoughts & Trends magazine
published by The Navigators, the second time this year the Evangelical
Covenant Church publication has been used as a source.
The current issue includes a reprint of the "Evangelicals and War" column
written by Jay Phelan, a regular columnist for the Companion. That
column originally appeared in the November issue. Earlier this year, the
magazine shared content from the Companion's May issue that focused
on the new TNIV translation of the New Testament published by Zondervan
Publishing Company.
Other publications cited in the current issue of Current Thoughts &
Trends include American Enterprise, The New Yorker, Christianity
Today and the Washington Post National Weekly.
