Trio Reykjavikur at North Park February 8
CHICAGO, IL (January 28, 2003) - North Park University (NPU) will host Trio
Reykjavikur, an ensemble consisting of three musicians from the Iceland
Academy of the Arts, in a concert on February 8.
The 3 p.m. concert is part of the Chamber Music of North Park series and
includes music by Beethoven, Dvorak and the noted contemporary Iceland
composer Jon Nordal. The appearance by the Icelandic trio is being
presented in cooperation with the Center for Scandinavian Studies at NPU,
and with the support of the American Scandinavian Foundation's Art Fund.
Tickets for the concert cost $15 for general admission; $10 for seniors,
the disabled, and non North Park students. North Park students will be
admitted free of charge.
