Plantinga to Speak at Trinity in Detroit
LIVONIA, MI (March 2, 2003) - Trinity Church, a Covenant congregation near
Detroit, is hosting noted theologian and author Dr. Cornelius Plantinga in
a 6:30 p.m. event on March 23.
Plantinga serves as president of Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand
Rapids. He will speak on "Sin and Self Deception: Thinking Anew About the
Human Predicament" as part of the church's Lenten celebration. Admission is
$5 to the Sunday evening lecture. Plantinga, who wrote Not The Way It's
Supposed To Be, will also preach at
the church's 10:45 a.m. Sunday worship service.
