Two Covenant Pastors Activated to Military Duty


DONALDSON, IN (March 11, 2003) - Jim Rucker, pastor of the Evangelical Covenant Church of Donaldson, was recently called to the military, the second Covenant minister to be called into active duty in the past month, Covenant News Service has learned.

Noel Cisneros, pastor of The People's Covenant Church in San Juan, Texas, was also called into military service as a chaplain in recent weeks, reports Mary Miller, vice president for administration for the Evangelical Covenant Church.

In light of current world events, the Department of Communication news staff is compiling a list of Covenanters currently in military service. To submit names of Covenanters in the military, please email newsdesk@covchurch.org.
