Lecture to Focus on Post-September 11 Issues


CHICAGO, IL (March 13, 2003) - John L. Esposito, noted speaker, author and founding director of the Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding History and International Affairs at Georgetown University, will be a guest speaker at North Park University on March 28.

Esposito's 4:30 p.m. lecture, "Post-September 11: The U.S. and the Muslim World," will be presented at Viking Hall on the university campus. It is sponsored by North Park's Center for Middle Eastern Studies, the first evangelical Christian Middle Eastern studies center in North America.

Although the event is free and open to the public, seating is limited, according to North Park's public relations staff. For more information, call Deborah Larsen at 773-244-5750.
