Covenant Mission EuroConference Begins May 28
GRENOBLE, FRANCE (March 14, 2003) - A number of Evangelical Covenant Church
missionaries and families will gather May 28 through June 1 for the annual
Covenant Mission EuroConference to be held at the Camp of the Peaks near
Grenoble.
Covenanters and their families who are serving with any mission groups in
Europe are
invited to attend for fellowship, mutual encouragement and networking,
according to Jan and Richard Epps-Dawson, regional coordinators for Europe
and Russia in the Department of World Mission. Childcare and family
activities will be offered.
Deadline for reservations is March 31. Guests will include David Brown of
France Mission, author of A Church for Today, a book that addresses
issues involved in church planting and church development in the French
context. "His insight into postmodern thinking will be the connecting point
for our various countries represented," the Epps-Dawsons note. Brown has
planted two churches and will speak to about the developing structures and
innovative programs within the churches of Europe. Also present as a
professional counseling resource from the Evangelical Covenant World
Mission Member Care Team will be Cheri Auman.
Those interested in attending or desiring to recommend other individuals to
receive invitations should email Richard or Jan Epps-Dawson at
eppsdawson@t-online.de.
