Radio KICY Photos Sought for Book Project


CHICAGO, IL (April 18, 2003) - Photos of radio station KICY in Nome, Alaska, are being sought as part of research for a new book, according to the Department of Church Growth and Evangelism of the Evangelical Covenant Church.

The department, in conjunction with Arctic Broadcasting Association, has commissioned a book celebrating the history and mission of KICY, which serves a large constituency in western Alaska and Russia. Those who have photos of the radio station or of former Employees and volunteers are asked to submit them no later than July 1 to Rob Hall, Evangelical Covenant Church, 5101 N. Francisco Ave., Chicago, IL, 60625.

Photos will be returned if a self-addressed stamped envelope accompanies them. For more information on the project, the station or its ministry, call Hall at 773-907-3341 or contact him by email at rob.hall@covchurch.org.
