North Park Symphony Concert Set for Friday

CHICAGO, IL (April 28, 2003) - The North Park University Symphony Orchestra will present its annual spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Anderson Chapel.

Under the direction of conductor Tom Zelle, the orchestra will perform Joseph Haydn's "Symphony No. 92" (Oxford); Johann Sebastian Bach's "Before Thy Throne I Now Appear;" Paul Hindemith's "Trauermusik" (soloist Brita Fray, Viola); and Beethoven's "Symphony No. 8 in F Major, Op. 93."

General admission is $7; faculty, staff and those age 65 and older pay $5, as do non-North Park students and the disabled. For those with North Park University identification, the cost is $2. For further information call the school's music department at 773-244-5625.
