Simi Valley (CA) Team Headed to Albania
SIMI VALLEY, CA (May 1, 2003) - A six-member team from Simi Covenant Church is en
route to Albania as a short-term mission experience. The group will
minister in a variety of ways and seek to build long-term relationships.
Members of the group are Kurt Fredrickson, Sue Moran, Rebecca Krueger,
Carol Latham, Lisa Latham and David Hill. "We are welcoming support for
this trip in the form of prayer for us and the people we come into contact
with," said Hill prior to the group's departure. Specific prayer requests
suggested by the group include:
- Safe travel
- Humility in serving our Albanian brothers and sisters
- Humility in presenting the gospel to those we may encounter on our
journey (both in Albania and while traveling)
- Boldness to present the gospel when and where appropriate
- The people of the village of Ibë
