Memorial Service Thursday for Ann Kronberg
WAHOO, NE (June 4, 2003) - A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in
Swedeburg Covenant Church for Ann Kronberg, wife of retired Covenant pastor
Robert Kronberg, who died last Friday (May 30) at the age of 80.
The Kronbergs have lived in Swedeburg during recent years. Ann had moved to
her son Alan's home in recent weeks for hospice care in Omaha after she was
diagnosed with cancer during the spring, said pastor Richard Olson.
Robert and Ann served in ministry together nearly four decades. Robert was
a pastor at churches in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Nebraska. He had served
both as a full-time and interim pastor at the Covenant church in Swedeburg.
The Kronbergs began ministry together in Park Falls, Wisconsin, around the
time when they were married in September 1948.
Ann is survived by her husband, Robert, along with her five children:
Joyce, Theodore, Alan, Norman and Virginia and their families.
