Broken Pipe Causes Three Covenant Offices to Close Tuesday
CHICAGO, IL (September 2, 2003) - The Central Conference office will be closed
for the next few days after a broken water pipe led to water damage to
the office, said a conference employee.
Kirsten Nelson, director of leadership development for the conference,
said the conference office will be closed all week but phone messages
will be returned each day and conference staff members will work out of
their homes.
The Department of Christian Formation and Department of the Ordered
Ministry were also affected and will remain closed on Tuesday. Both
offices are expected to be open on Wednesday.
