Memorial Service October 2 for Lillian Ek
CROMWELL, CT (September 29, 2003) - A memorial service will be conducted
Thursday, October 2, for Lillian Ek, widow of the late Rev. Luther Ek and
mother of Evangelical Covenant Church pastors Tim and Tom Ek.
Mrs. Ek died today in Cromwell where she had lived for a number of years at
Covenant Village of Cromwell. She is the grandmother of Rev. Christopher Ek
(Illinois) and Kathleen Ek (a member of the staff at Covenant Home in
Chicago). Another son, Ted Ek, lives in Massachusetts.
The se
rvice will be conducted at 2 p.m. at Hilltop Covenant Church, 82 Hicksville
Road, Cromwell, CT, 06416. Additional arrangements are pending, according
to East Coast Conference Supt. Bob Dvorak. More information will be posted
to this Covenant news site as it becomes available.
