Houston (TX) Church Damaged by Tornado
HOUSTON, TX (October 9, 2003) - Faith Community Evangelical Covenant Church
was struck by a tornado Thursday morning, said Midsouth Conference
Supt. Garth Bolinder.
Part of the roof of the church building was peeled off when the tornado
struck the church at about 11 a.m., according to a story by the Houston
Chronicle. A tornado also hit a middle school in what is known as the
Sugar Land area earlier in the morning.
More information about the extent of the damage at Faith Community will be
reported when it becomes available.
