Midwinter Scholarship Forms Mailed to Pastors
CHICAGO, IL (October 14, 2003) - Scholarship forms have been sent to Evangelical
Covenant Church (ECC) pastors in preparation for the Covenant Midwinter
Pastor's Conference February 2-6 at the O'Hare Hyatt Regency Hotel in
Rosemont.
The scholarship forms were sent with pre-Midwinter publicity materials,
said Midwinter Conference coordinator Carolyn Pitezel. Scholarship monies
have been increased in order to allow more pastors to attend the event.
They are awarded on the basis of need, size of church and distance from the
event.
Scholarships must be mailed to conference superintendents and regional
directors no later than November 1, Pitezel added. It is also necessary to
send a copy of a church budget in order to have an application considered.
Conferences will then send scholarship applications to the Department of
the Ordered Ministry in November.
More detailed information about the Midwinter and official registration
