Memorial Service Planned for Loraine Quarnstrom
SPRING VALLEY, CA (December 31, 2003) - A memorial service will be held on
January 24 for Loraine Quarnstrom, widow of former Canada Conference Supt.
Leonard Quarnstrom, who died on Christmas Eve at Mount Miguel Covenant
Village near San Diego.
According to chaplain Verle Peterson, the 2:30 p.m. memorial service will
be held at Bailey Center at the village. More information will be posted to
this online Covenant news report as it becomes available.
Loraine's husband was a key figure in the development of Covenant Bible
College (then known as Covenant Bible Institute), which began in Canada on
October 15, 1941. He later served 19 years as superintendent of the Canada
Conference. Leonard died February 26, 2001.
