Danish Performance Team at North Park in March
CHICAGO, IL (January 3, 2004) - The National Danish Performance Team will
travel to North Park University for a performance on March 6 as part of
the team's worldwide tour.
Modern rhythmic gymnastics, artistic vaulting and tumbling are among the
components of the National Danish Performance Team's show, which will be
presented in North Park's gymnasium. Routines and costumes will vary
throughout the event.
General admission for the 7 p.m. show is $12; groups of 20 or more and
students are $8. Proceeds from the performance will benefit North Park's
Center for Scandinavian Studies scholarships for students from
Scandinavian countries as well as the university's Viking Club that
supports intercollegiate athletics.
